CAD TECHNICIAN/LAND SURVEYOR - MEATH
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is Ireland’s leading independent manufacturer of concrete
construction materials.
You will provide geomatic and technical drawing support to the
company
You will be creating solutions and designs in conjunction with the
Planning and Environment team
Undertake land and engineering surveys using Total Station, GPS and
Drone surveying equipment.
Drafting planning drawings, site layout plans, sections and other
technical building drawings.
Preparation of maps for legal purpose including Land Registry
compliant mapping.
Setting out boundaries and structures.
2D and 3D quarry design using digital terrain modelling software.
Periodically quantifying production stocks of aggregates.
Geomatic support for geological/geophysical field investigations.
REQUIREMENTS
3rd level degree or equivalent in a relative discipline
Experience with AutoCAD software essential and familiar with
technical/construction drawings
Working knowledge of LSS digital terrain software an advantage,
Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
